Traditional Nursery

Here at Nightingale, our focus on the nursery is to grow and supply the best of British.  All of our plants are grown on site and are looked after by our incredible team all year round. At our nursery, we do not buy in or stock any garden accessories or sundries.

As we are a working nursery, you'll more that likely find us potting up, taking cuttings or watering the plants when you visit, but don't be scared to ask for help and advice if you need to.

Clematis Specialists

Our Clematis range holds over 200 varieties of Hybrid, Species and dwarf types so we guarantee you'll leave with a plant you love.

Clematis are great performers in any space and many shorter varieties can be grown in containers and even hanging baskets. They are ideal for adding that extra splash of colour to patios, courtyards and terraces, inspiring an abundance of colour, form, texture and fragrance.

We grow more than just Clematis

Although we are mainly specialists in Clematis, we grow a wide selection of other plants including Climbers, Shrubs and Perennials. Our most popular Climbers are Trachelospermum and Jasminum, among many other varieties, to numerous to mention. We grow Perennials and Shrubs for every need, whether it be to add structure, ground cover or seasonal colour. These plants are essential in any garden.

Every year, we grow a spectacular array of seasonal bedding and patio and hanging basket plants. Timeless varieties of Geranium, Begonia and Fuchsia are classics within our range.

By clicking on any of the links above, you will be able to view our catalogues for 2023.

We do not have a Herbaceous Perennial or Seasonal Bedding and Patio catalogue due to possible sudden changes in availability.

These lists are completed annually, so all varieties are subject to shortages and changes. As we sell to wholesale trades, we can sell out of entire varieties very quickly. No liability is accepted for non-availability of goods.

We are sorry for any inconvenience stock changes or shortages may cause.
