Trends come and go, and so we are continually developing and adding to our range to accommodate the forever changing needs and wants of our customers.
Here at Nightingale, we are a very welcoming bunch and you're more than welcome to pay us a visit. Ideally, we would prefer some notice of your arrival but that isn't essential. Understanding customer needs are important and so we work tirelessly to be able to work around you.
Ordering
Ordering with us is simple and easy. We can either pick your requested amount of plants out ourselves based on what's looking good, or you can prepare an order off of our catalogue availability list and ring through or send us an email, whichever works best for you.
During the summer months when we are at our busiest, we ask that you give 3 days minimum notice before orders are to be delivered. If we are able to, we will of course deliver earlier. A minimum of 3 days is required to ensure that things remain running smoothly here on the nursery as well as in order picking, packing and deliveries as we are only a small team.
When ordering, if a plant request is unavailable due to stock shortages, we are able to offer the nearest substitute where appropriate. All our plants are dispatched with either a colour label or a computer generated descriptive label as well as a plant passport detailing all required information. All caned plants will have a safety cane cap.
Cash and Carry
We offer a comprehensive cash and carry service all year round for convenience.
This service is available in two options.
You are welcome to visit the nursery and prepare your order on your own accord or, during non peak seasons, we could pick out your order for you to collect.
During peak seasons, if you would like for us to pick out your order ready for your collection, please allow a minimum of 3 days. Payment is due upon collection for cash and carry services.
Delivery
Our plants can be delivered to you on Container Centralen (CC) trolleys. When picking your order, we will ring you before hand to discus trolley tag requirements for ease of exchange. If requested, we can deliver your plants in black crates but these must be unloaded and returned at the time of delivery. We deliver using our own transport, and delivery is free within an 60 mile radius of the nursery on orders over £600 (net). For orders under our free delivery terms, a delivery fee will be applied. Please ensure that deliveries are met on arrival, and that there is someone who can sign off the delivery.
