Growing Quality & Relationships Since 1978

A Family Business Built on Plants, Experience and Passion

For more than four decades, we’ve been growing plants - and building lasting relationships with the people and businesses we supply.

Established in 1978, our family run horticultural business has grown from humble beginnings into an established supplier to the wholesale and retail sectors, as well as local authorities.

While horticulture continues to evolve, our commitment to quality has never changed. We continually introduce new varieties and ranges, keeping our plants in step with changing seasons, styles and customer expectations.

At The Root Of Everything We Do

Our team combines generations of horticultural experience with a forward-thinking approach to modern plant production.

We're proud to offer a friendly, knowledgeable service, whether you're looking for advice on our ranges, planning a large planting requirement or simply need help choosing the right plants.

For us, being a family business means taking pride in what we grow and caring about the people we work with.

We believe great plants start with great care.

From growing and cultivation through to preparation and supply, we focus on producing plants that look good, perform well and offer excellent value.

Our goal is straightforward:

Quality plants. Competitive prices. Reliable service.

It’s an approach that has served us well for nearly 50 years - and one that continues to guide us in everything we do.

Our Plants

At the heart of what we do is a passion for growing exceptional plants.

We are particularly proud of our expertise in Clematis and Climbers, complemented by a diverse range of plants for gardens, patios, baskets and commercial planting schemes.

Our range includes:

Clematis & Climbers

Shrubs & Perennials
Patio & Basket Plants

Bedding Plants

A Gardener's Dream Along Gardeners Lane

Our nursery is nestled within a truly special setting, on land that was once part of The Embley Estate, the former home of Florence Nightingale.

Today, our nursery occupies a sheltered and secluded site, surrounded by acres of beautiful woodland. It’s a peaceful setting that provides the perfect environment for growing quality plants and reflects our deep connection with the natural world.

Situated on the edge of The New Forest National Park, our nursery can be found just off the A3090, along Gardeners Lane, between Ower and Romsey in Hampshire.

Away from the hustle and bustle, but conveniently located for our customers, this is where generations of plants have been grown, cared for and supplied to customers across the region and beyond.

Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance

In addition to our growing skills, for over 30 years we have been providing professional landscaping and grounds maintenance services across Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

Our landscaping services range from contracted garden clearance and ongoing maintenance to hard and soft landscaping, helping our clients create and maintain attractive, practical outdoor spaces.

We are proud to be main contractors for Winchester City Council, undertaking landscaping and grounds maintenance work to a high professional standard. We are also members of Constructionline and the Guild of Master Craftsmen, reflecting our commitment to quality, reliability and professional workmanship.

With decades of experience behind us, our knowledgeable team brings a practical, hands-on approach to every project — whether it’s a complete garden transformation, regular seasonal maintenance, or the clearance and preparation of an outdoor space.

Over 30 years of experience.

Professional workmanship.

Local expertise.
