Ordering - Simple, Flexible & Straightforward

We make ordering from Nightingale easy. You can let us select the best plants available in your requested quantities, or choose specifically from our catalogue and order by phone or email.

Delivery Notice
During the busy summer months, we require at least three days' notice for delivery. We try to accommodate shorter notices, but this time helps our small team keep the nursery and delivery schedule running smoothly.

Substitutions & Labelling

If a plant is unavailable, we will offer a suitable substitute.

All plants arrive with a colour or descriptive label and a fully detailed plant passport.

Caned plants include a safety cane cap.

Delivery

From Our Nursery to Your Business

We operate our own delivery service, giving us greater control over the care and handling of your plants from nursery to destination.

Orders can be delivered on Container Centralen (CC) trolleys. When preparing your order, our team will contact you beforehand to discuss trolley tag requirements and make the exchange process as straightforward as possible.

Where requested, we can also deliver plants in black crates. These must be unloaded and returned to our driver at the time of delivery.

Our Delivery Area

We offer free delivery within a 60-mile radius of the nursery on orders over £600 net.

For orders that fall outside our free delivery terms, a delivery charge will apply.

To ensure deliveries run smoothly, please make sure that someone is available to receive and sign for the delivery on arrival.

Cash & Carry

Choose Your Plants, Your Way

Our Cash & Carry service is available throughout the year, offering trade customers a convenient way to source plants directly from the nursery.

You have two options:

Pick Your Own

Visit us at the nursery and select and prepare your own order at your convenience.

We Pick, You Collect

During quieter, non-peak periods, our team can select and prepare your order ready for collection.

During peak periods, if you would like us to pick your order for you, please allow a minimum of three days' notice.

Payment for Cash & Carry orders is due upon collection.
