We’re a traditional, working nursery, where our focus is on growing and supplying the very best of British-grown plants. Every plant we sell is grown here on site and cared for throughout the year by our dedicated and knowledgeable team.
You won’t find garden furniture or accessories here. Instead, our nursery is all about the plants - how they’re grown, how they perform and helping you find the right ones for your garden.
Because we’re a working nursery, you may find us potting, taking cuttings, watering or tending to the plants when you visit. That’s all part of what makes Nightingale what it is.

Our lists are updated annually and are intended as a guide to the varieties we grow. As a working nursery supplying both retail customers and the wholesale trade, availability can change at short notice.
Some varieties may be subject to limited availability or unexpected shortages, and popular plants can sell out very quickly. On occasion, an entire variety may become unavailable before our next list is produced.
For this reason, inclusion on a plant list does not guarantee availability at the time of purchase. We cannot accept liability for plants that are unavailable due to changes in stock, growing conditions or supply.
